San Francisco has the financial flexibility to nab a top pass-rushing talent in Melvin Ingram.

49ers announced 9 more additions to Kyle Shanahan's coaching staff. Included in the announcements are holdovers Jason Tarver (senior defensive assistant) and Jeff Hafley (defensive backs). The new members of the staff include Robert Saleh (defensive coordinator), Richard Hightower (special teams), Johnny Holland (linebackers), Marquis Johnson (strength and conditioning assistant), Dustin Perry (strength and conditioning assistant), Bob Slowik (defensive quality control) and Jeff Zgonina (defensive line).
