A former Philadelphia Eagles executive assistant, who was fired by former coach Chip Kelly, was presented with a Super Bowl ring during the team's ring ceremony on Thursday.

Eagles' rings feature 219 diamonds, 17 sapphires

The Philadelphia Eagles gathered to receive their championship rings Thursday night and no detail was overlooked. Made of pure 10-karat white gold, each contained a total of 219 diamonds and 17 green sapphires.

DE Bennett logs first practice with Eagles

Michael Bennett was in attendance Tuesday for the start of the Eagles' mandatory minicamp, and he appeared eager to keep the focus on the football field following a turbulent few months off it.

Eagles RT Lane Johnson doesn't agree with all of Doug Pederson's messaging. Pederson said it's time to "rip off the dog masks and no longer be the underdog, but be the hunted, have that target on our back." Johnson disagrees with the "hunted" portion of the mentality.

Eagles QB Carson Wentz still knocking the rust off, intercepted by S Rodney McLeod during red zone drills on first day of minicamp. Follows that up with a bullet TD throw to Nelson Agholor. Most important thing is he continues to ramp up his participation in front of training camp.

Colts coach Frank Reich and former Eagles offensive coordinator Frank Reich on the criticism Philadelphia players have received after the Super Bowl champions were disinvited to the White House: "My experience with those players is the one thing that certainly can't be questioned is their character. Starting with Malcolm (Jenkins). He is of the highest character, one of the true pros I've ever been around in the short time I was with him. That whole team was very high character players. I think they're trying to handle their business the right way."
