The Patriots had WR River Cracraft (Washington State), WR Kenny Lawler (California), DB Robert Nelson (Arizona State), WR Nelson Spruce (Colorado) and DE Jonathan Woodard (Central Arkansas) in for free-agent workouts Monday. The team has one spot on the practice squad after waiving OL Willie Beavers on Saturday.

The Patriots had free-agent DE/OLB Datone Jones in for a free-agent workout, ESPN's Field Yates reports. Jones entered the NFL as a first-round draft choice of the Packers in 2013. He has also been with the Vikings. In addition to working out with the Patriots, Jones has worked out for the Lions.
