On the 49ers' pass rush against the Rams, coach Kyle Shanahan said it "wasn't good enough" and that "our guys didn't win." Niners leaned on four-man rush more often than not and didn't have nearly the success they had in Seattle against the Rams. In fact, the 49ers finished with no sacks and three quarterback hits.

Like with LB Reuben Foster, 49ers S Eric Reid (knee) is also not expected to return from injury in time to play against Arizona next week. Coach Kyle Shanahan said Reid is going to take a bit longer than Foster to get back, which means he's likely another two-three weeks from being in that conversation.

As Niners coach Kyle Shanahan indicated Thursday night, the team has three players in the concussion protocol: FB Kyle Juszczyk, LB Brock Coyle and S Jaquiski Tartt. All three will go through normal procedure before they can be cleared to return but will have a few extra days to recover because of the extra time off after a Thursday night game.

49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said he would be "shocked" if LB Reuben Foster was ready to return from his ankle injury next week against Arizona. Foster is progressing and is out of his walking boot but it sounds like the original one-month projection for a return will remain the target.
