News: When asked if Fitzpatrick would start again this week, interim coach Perry Fewell said he's going to be spending some more time on that decision, BuffaloBills.com reports.
"I thought Ryan did some really good things in the football game on Sunday," Fewell said. "There were some things that we have to coach and he has to get better at. There are some throws that he would like to have back. We're going to evaluate every day who is going to be our quarterback. We're going to evaluate every week who gives us the best opportunity to be our quarterback. And when we decide we will announce that person as our quarterback. But I thought Ryan Fitzpatrick commanded the huddle, commanded the team and led the team very well on Sunday."
Spin: Considering Fitzpatrick's 297 yards Sunday against the Jaguars were the most for a Bills passer since J.P. Losman's 340-yard passing day over three years ago, we're pretty confident the Bills will be sticking with Fitzpatrick. Some of the team's veteran offensive players seem to like what he brings to the table, as he takes more shots downfield than Trent Edwards. |
