Mavs' Smith Jr. (hip) out at least next 2 games

Dallas Mavericks rookie point guard Dennis Smith Jr. will miss at least the next two games with a strained left hip, coach Rick Carlisle told reporters in Milwaukee on Friday. Smith sat out practice Thursday because of the injury.
