The Diamondbacks get a leadoff double in the bottom of the 16th, but can't score and the Padres win 4-3. Tough one for Arizona as catcher Jeff Mathis, the team's 10th pitcher of the day, gets the loss. You can never plan on a game going 16 innings, but it also stings big time to lose a game with a position player.
