Mookie Betts has inflammation, but no structural damage, in his left wrist/hand, a CT scan confirmed Tuesday. While the news certainly could be worse for Betts and the Red Sox, wrist issues are always red flags for hitters. Betts' availability will be day-to-day. With only six games left in the regular season, Red Sox will have to balance rest for Betts and making sure his timing is right at the plate.
