Ref at center of UK criticism sues media outlet

College basketball referee John Higgins filed a civil lawsuit Tuesday blaming Kentucky Sports Radio for helping to incite death threats and encouraging defamatory social media messages and phone messages following an NCAA tournament game Higgins worked.
