Alabama associate AD resigns amid probe

Alabama associate AD Kobie Baker, who oversaw all areas of Alabama's basketball administration, has resigned after the school questioned him about being linked to the ongoing FBI college basketball investigation. Baker previously worked for the NCAA.

Alabama officials announced Wednesday night that basketball administrator Kobie Baker resigned after an internal review, following the FBI's arrest of four assistant coaches at other schools on Tuesday. Alabama AD Greg Byrne said the review did not reveal any SEC or NCAA violations, nor did it find that any other staff members were involved. Baker is a former NCAA assistant director of enforcement for basketball development.
