QB Fields, top prospect for 2018, breaks finger

The No. 1-ranked prospect in the 2018 class, Justin Fields, broke his index finger on his throwing hand on Thursday in a game against Dalton High School. The injury will require surgery, which will result in a cast for six weeks.

UGA's Smart choppers in for top recruit's game

Thursday was a good day for the Georgia Bulldogs, as coach Kirby Smart got a live look at the nation's No. 1 recruit -- already committed to Georgia -- and also received a commitment from a top-60 player.

Georgia landed ESPN 300 defensive end Adam Anderson on Thursday, adding to its No. 12 ranked recruiting class. Anderson is the No. 57 ranked prospect in the 2018 class and gives the Dawgs seven ESPN 300 commitments.
