Ducks starting lineman Sewell to miss 6 weeks

Oregon's Penei Sewell, the first freshman offensive lineman to start a season opener since 1997, injured his ankle vs. Washington and is expected to miss six weeks.

Oregon's plan to contain Washington is very clear: blitz, blitz, blitz. On UW QB Jake Browning's first eight dropbacks, the Ducks blitzed seven times (88 percent). Oregon came into the game blitzing only 22 percent of the time this year, according to ESPN Stats and Information.
