The Cincinnati Reds didn’t win Tuesday’s game at St. Louis because, as has been the case over the past few seasons, their pitching is mostly dreadful. That said, the offense remains intriguing and close to the top 10 in baseball in runs scored. Young outfielder Jesse Winker was leading off on Tuesday and that’s an intriguing spot for him, since he does get on base. The Reds might not be used to that! Shortstop Zack Cozart became the sixth Reds player to hit 20 home runs with his solo shot. Then there’s Joey Votto, Adam Duvall and a grown man named Scooter, just to name a few. This is a deep lineup!
